Literature promots humankind: Aacharya Lokesh Muni

The 8th Global Literary Festival Noida, the biggest literary festival of North India was inaugurated by H.E Moe Kyaw Aung Ambassador of Myanmar, Gen. J.J Singh Former Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, Dr. Prem Janmejai Author, Acharya Lokesh Muni Ermia Raescu, Educationalist from Romania, Dr. Heera Lal IAS & Author, Katerina Tyurina Embassy of Russia and Dr. Sandeep Marwah Founder- President of AAFT.

The event was managed by the committee of Asian Unity Alliance in Association with WAI- Writers Association of India, AAFT University & ICMEI at Marwah Studio, Noida Film City from 6th-8th October to promote Love, Peace and Unity Through Art and Culture.

The event was started by the speech of Dr. Sandeep Marwah. He told the audience about the Global Literary Festival and that how they have been successfully organising the event from the past few years. He also shares his thoughts on the importance of books and literature and how he keeps learning the news things from time to time.

“Promotion of literature means promotion of humankind, our traditions, our customs and our way of life. You may be writing a book, but fact is you are also writing history for the next generation,” said Acharya Lokesh Muni.

“Superfluous writing has no meaning, the depth of life converted into writing becomes many times a learning experiences for others. Writing a book is a serious matter,” added Prem Janamejai senior writer of the country.

H.E. Moe Kyaw Aung started his speech by thanking the organisers of the event for inviting him. He said that he is feeling proud to be a part of this literary event and congratulates the organizers for showcasing and promoting literature at such a grand scale. He told the audience that how India and Myanmar are sharing friendly relations from the past and also that Indo-Myanmar Film & Cultural Forum and Embassy of Myanmar is here to support to its best.

“The McMahon Line : A Century of Discord “, a book written by former Governor of Arunachal Pradesh and former Chief of Army Staff. He informs that the book is based on the former Army Chief’s experiences and research on the Indo-Chines border dispute. The Governor said people knew little about the McMahon line, while there was enough to hear about it. He said a solution is possible only through dialogue between India and China.

It was significant that General JJ Singh had written a book on a sensitive issue. The book had laid emphasis on politics, history, structure and geography of the McMahon line.

General J.J.Singh revealed that the book was based on six years of study and research on the India-China border dispute.

“Dynamic DM’’ is a book written by an IAS Officer and now also an author Dr Heera Lal.

Dynamic DM is not just the name of his book, but also a nickname given to him by his fellow officers and the common people. Throughout his speech he seemed very easy-going and jovial. He shares that how during the lockdown he start writing. In his book he shares his experience on the job and narrates how he worked day and night for the betterment of people’s life. He also encourages the audience to start writing and said even if you don’t have an interested topic to write on start writing about your life.

Educationalist and writer Ermia Raescu from Romania, Katernia Tyurina from Embassy of Russia, Eom Nam Suk from South Korea also shared their experience and spoke on the subject love, peace, and unity through art and culture.


The second half of the event started with a musical performance. The second event of the day was based on the discussion on Internet & Mobile’s Effect and Book Reading Habits, where S.S.Dogra Author, Ass. Professor & Journalist, Writer Anju Malhotra, Pratibha Johri, Kasturika Mishra and RJ Amita Kamal shared their opinions.
They also presents a book written by Mr. Krishna Kumar (who is also an govt. employee) with the title “Prakrati Mere Jaan’’.

At the last some students were rewarded with a certificate for participating in the event and the host ended the event with a vote of thanks.

The first day of the festival saw many events one after another to keep the large audience busy with activities of knowledge and intelligence including many book release and Poster release of Deen Dayal Upadhaya by forum.

At the end I would like to thanks my Professor S.S. Dogra for informing about this grand event and giving me an opportunity to join him over there. It was a very nice experience for me as I listened to such great personalities and got a chance to know a lot about the importance of books and literature in our life. Also I got to see how the whole event was managed by the students and teachers of the university.
