Motherhood Club Celebrated Basant Panchmi in a unique way on World Cancer Day

Noida, 5th February. It organised HOPE based international poetic event to express solidarity and hope for Cancer Warriors. A two hour live Session saw people joining from Spain and Singapore and all over India. Of the 40 odd participants 28 were women from various walks of life teaching & medical profession, home makers, poets, mentors and social workers.
The Chief Guest was famous media personality and Chancellor of AAFT University of Arts & Media with Dr S V S Deo, Head of the Oncology Surgical Department AIIMS New Delhi, Sushil Bharti Director Broadcasting Radio NOIDA, Dr Purivesh Parikh, Oncologist, Asian Institute of Oncology Mumbai.

150 minutes poetic extravaganza was superbly hosted by Akta Sehgal Malhotra founder Motherhood Club and Dr Indu Bansal Radiation Oncologist Gurugram. Both of rendered their inspiring piece of poetic thoughts.

Dr Sandeep Marwah profusely shared his words of wisdom and expressed gratitude for a unique initiative by the women, coming afront for a noble cause. He was at his best while coming up with motivational thoughts and poems as well.

It was heartening to see that Motherhood Club could raise a sum of Rs 75000/- by the end of session for a poor cancer patient undergoing treatment in AIIMS and also in various other hospitals. Motherhood Club proposes compilation of the poems recited in the session and called for on Positivity and Hope, in a book form very soon. The objective is to instill – “Feel great : Come What May”

Participant included Varun Rastogi, Honey Sehgal, Vikas Jha, Nidhi Bansal, Ritu Agarwal, Suraksha Purthi Khurana, Ila Pachauri, Neeru Sehgal, Richa Sharma, Heena Tekchandani, Vanessa Jacqueline D’Cruz, Sharmishtha Mukherjee, Pankaj Mishra, Sharadha Iyer, Pooja Dixit, Mukesh Bhatnagar, Praveen Singh, Kshamta Prakash, Tapasya Surekar, Rashmi Sanganeria, Vaishali Tambe, Usha Vardhan Sharma, Dr Muktesh Sharma, Anju Kwatra, Tasneem Dhinojwala, Dr Subohi Rizvi, Dr Prabhu Dayal Pahwa, Rajpal Yadav, Shivraj Gurjar, Hemi Singh, Dr Aditya Gupta, Sunita Bansal, Pallavi Vachhani, Monica Goel Diwan, Babita Chauhan Pawar, Himani Rahul Patil, Neha Bhagat and Dr Roshni.

Motherhood Club enlivened a beautiful song from the film Anari sung by Mukesh –

Gratitude to the Cancer Specialist from all over who gave their precious time for the event and to the participants, coming up with their motivational poems.
